The FAA just declared “Starship will not launch this summer!”

After the first Starship orbital flight finished in flames, the biggest question on the minds of space fans was: When will this monster rise again?
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk promised a launch in August.
Starbase this month has also consistently proven its fast return to launch mode.
Lots of hope that Starship might be waking up.
Sadly, the FAA just declared “Starship will not launch this summer!”
What is the real reason behind this?
Let’s discover everything about this in today’s episode of Great SpaceX:
The FAA, which is overseeing an investigation into the April 20 launch, said on Wednesday 26 July it was still awaiting the report it needs to identify corrective actions SpaceX must take to get the OK to launch again from Boca Chica.
Three months after SpaceX’s first Starship launch ended in a fiery explosion over the Gulf of Mexico, the company hasn’t submitted its final accident report to the Federal Aviation Administration, signaling that the next-generation rocket program remains grounded and is unlikely to attempt a second launch this summer.
An FAA spokesperson declined to speculate when the agency’s investigation might be completed, saying that “public safety and actions yet to be taken by SpaceX will dictate the timeline.”
“The FAA will not allow a return to flight operations until it determines that any system, process, or procedure related to the mishap does not affect public safety or any other aspect of the operator’s license,” the spokesperson said. “The mishap investigation is ongoing.”
