The first time I bought Tesla shares was in the beginning of 2019 (adjusted for the current division of 2022 August – under $20 dollars per share). I purchased it because at that time for the initial time it was absolutely clear to me that Tesla will be profitable and bankruptcy is no longer a worry. My personal opinion is that even though the shares went up a great deal, I still individually believe it is strongly underpriced, but only if you are a long term investor.

Bloomberg reports that at the moment, Tesla unveils the latest Model 3. Prior speculations indicated that the company had already started manufacturing these vehicles at the Gigafactory Shanghai, and now we can anticipate the arrival of the completed prototypes.

The updated Tesla Model 3 not only displays a different look but also features improved specs. Moreover, the electric car might become more affordable, due to a new manufacturing process.

We can expect the refreshed Tesla Model 3 to make its debut in June. Designers have provided visual representations of the potential appearance of the new electric vehicle.

Dubbed Highland Project, the revised Tesla Model 3 will feature a more streamlined look. Notably, the front bumper will no longer include fog lights.

Thinner front lights will be implemented in the front, as evidenced by a picture of a prototype.

The inside of the EV will also undergo changes. The Tesla Model 3 may incorporate the dashboard from the Model X electric crossover. At present, the existing model only includes a center screen.

In place of a gear selector mounted on the steering wheel, the updated Tesla Model 3 will enable shifting gears via the center screen, as observed in one of the prototype vehicles.

The interior materials of the electric car will be updated. Wood will be replaced with cloth inserts, and new seating choices will be introduced.

The new Tesla Model 3 is expected to deliver enhanced power and velocity. The EV’s range is anticipated to reach around 640 kilometers in the long-range version.

Due to the new manufacturing method, the updated Tesla Model 3 might become more affordable. Rumors suggest a potential price reduction of approximately 20%.

The importance of the new Model 3 for Tesla cannot be overstated. It is one of the company’s top-selling cars and among the most popular electric vehicles worldwide. Unofficial artist impressions indicate that the exterior of the car may undergo significant changes while still maintaining Tesla’s unique style.

Achieving a spacecraft to orbit is a significant accomplishment. Virgin Spacecraft offers a captivating case. This organization has endured multiple challenges in their quest to develop a trustworthy, reusable spacecraft. One of their most devastating accidents occurred in 2014 during a test flight. The craft broke apart mid-air, resulting in the death of one pilot and critically injuring another.
Another case worth noting is Boeing’s Starliner. Designed to transport astronauts to the International Space Station, the Starliner experienced issues during its first unmanned trial flight in December 2019. An onboard timing error resulted in the spacecraft burning too much fuel, stopping it from reaching the global space station as planned. The Starliner had to come back to Earth without finishing its mission, marking a major setback for Boeing.
But, Regarding SpaceX, they have successfully launched numerous of vehicles into orbit, acquiring precious experience along the way. However, the company’s latest goal of launching Starship into orbit is bringing new challenges.
When we talk about ‘reaching space’ and ‘getting to orbit’, we mean two different things. There’s a line, called the Karman line, about 100 kilometers up from the ground. When a spaceship gets to this line, we say it’s in space. If it goes up to space and then comes back down without circling the Earth, we call this a ‘suborbital flight.
But to get into ‘orbit’, which means to go around the Earth, the spaceship has to go even higher, above 200 kilometers. Once there, it has to go super fast, at least 28,000 kilometers per hour, to keep circling the Earth without falling back down. This is called ‘being in orbit’.
