Ingredients:
- 1 lb. chicken tenders
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 4 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
- In a small saucepan, combine the hot sauce and the unsalted butter. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until the butter has melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Next, in a shallow bowl, combine the flour, panko, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Working with one chicken tender at a time, dip the chicken into the beaten egg, then into the flour mixture, coating both sides well.
- Place the coated chicken tenders onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Bake the chicken tenders for 10 minutes, then flip them over and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until they’re golden brown and crispy.
